In the Apostolic Exhortation "Verbum Domini," says Pope Benedict XVI: "To celebrate the Word of God during the liturgy, they also note singing at times prescribed by the rite itself, favoring one that has a clear inspiration Bible and know how to express, through a harmonious match between words and music, the beauty of God's word.
