Valencia February 7, 2011 .- This morning, after a deferral, the company, meeting tentatively scheduled for January 31, we met again the negotiating committee to develop what will be our third collective agreement.
Prior to this meeting, the committee composed of the unions CCOO and UGT, the company had sent a document writing of Chapters 1, 2, 5, 6, 8 and 9, in which we see our demands on schedules, permits, social benefits and training. The regulation proposed by us in any way represent an economic cost to the company.
In response, we received a paper at 9:30 this morning, just an hour and a half before the meeting, in which the company rejected all our proposals and in addition to trimming rights under the second agreement (eg eliminates the two days of own affairs, in addition to cutting our rights to participate on hours and hours), and other proposals that seek further flexible working hours and distribution of the day. In fact, the company proposes to delete the security of the weekend break in one week in four.
The rationale for these cuts is due, according to business representation, some guidelines set by CAC in which imposes a 5% reduction in the wage bill, which would result from reducing wage freeze and cuts above mentioned.
For our part, we consider unacceptable the proposal to freeze wages, knowing that the company has met its annual targets.
have developed during the meeting point by tuning our initial draft, regardless of the document received at the last minute, which would renegotiate an agreement from scratch.
The business side has picked up our exposure, taking note of it but without accepting any point.
Finally we set the next meeting on 21 this month, setting out our proposals on economic matters.
